Hello Players,
we have a gift for you!

We’re excited, that so many of you are here with us already (and still coming)!
After updating the game, you will be able to get new Pickup Truck paint jobs with 16 national flags

Although we’d love to include flags of all countries, we had to limit the amount to the ones with the highest percentage of players.

Two leaders of virtual gold mining also received symbols along the flag.
We would like to add symbols to other flags as well, but we need your help!
Let us know in the comment section, what symbols would like to have included with other 14 national flags

Please treat others with respect. Any comments that are chauvinistic, offensive, or based on prejudicial stereotypes will be deleted and may result in a ban.

Apart from that, new Update includes some minor changes and bug fixes. Full changelog below:

Patch 1.4.4.9910

Hey everyone!

We’ve applied some adjustments to the existing systems and values. Here’s an overview of the Patch, which has just been released:

  • Working Lamp Light durability increased.
  • Fuel Nozzle durability increased.
  • Big Areas gold amount increased.
  • Small Areas gold amount decreased.
  • Gold smelting time is no longer dependent on the amount of gold smelted – it all depends on your Time upgrade.
  • Smelting cost decreased.
  • Blacksmith upgrades cost decreased.
  • Magnetite can be gathered at every Tier now.
  • Magnetite can be sold at a Blacksmith now.
  • Magnetite price slightly decreased.
  • Magnetite can now be acquired from Hog Pan Mats, Miner’s Mosses, and Buckets.
  • Gold Nugget event values decreased.
  • Mobile Wash Plant cost decreased.
  • Small Excavator cost decreased.
  • Mobile Wash Plant processing speed increased.
  • Fast Travel now checks if there are any obstacles at fast travel waypoint – you need to keep some spare space to be able to use them.
  • Starting amount of Money slightly increased.

Speaking of the truck (and other vehicles), you can now paint it in fierce dragon scales. The cow skin for collecting all stories is also a moo-st have!

Fast Travel

Fast Travel

When traveling around the map in your new dragon’s truck collecting stories, don’t forget to unlock Fast Travel waypoints. They will help you get across your parcels in no time!

New Repairs

List of breakable parts keeps growing, but now the threat is even more real, as not paying loans might get you in real trouble! Manage your budget wisely, unless you want to see that new ‘Game Over’ screen, which we have prepared.

What’s new?

Travel around the map in search of amazing tales. With Collectible Stories you’ll learn more about the world of Gold Rush: The Game. There’s also a ridi-cow-lously nice reward for such effort.
More breakable parts = more challenges on your way to becoming the richest miner in Alaska. The threat is even more real, as from now on it is possible to see a “Game Over” screen, when you fail to pay your debts.
But that’s not everything! See changelog below for more info.

IMPORTANT

Open Beta branch is a voluntary option and it may not reflect the quality and content of actual Update 1.4.4.
Save files from Open Beta version won’t be transferred to a live build.
Machine Failures are disabled by default. You need to enable them in Settings/Game.

How to join the Open Beta

To join our beta you have to make this few simple steps.

  1. Right-Click on the Gold Rush: The Game in your Steam Library.
  2. Select Properties.

  3. Select BETAS Tab.

  4. Choose “openbeta – Prerelease testing branch”. You DO NOT NEED the beta access code.

  5. Restart your Steam Client.

To reverse the changes and go to the live build once again, just select the “NONE – Opt out of all beta programs” branch and restart your steam client.

REMEMBER: Saves from the beta version won’t work on the live build.

With Update 1.4.3, we bring optimization upgrade and improve two of the existing features:

Repairs Part 2

Keep an eye on your Washplant, as from now on, it can break when least expected. This can cause your gold mining operation to stop, and your resources to deplete.
Repairs can be enabled/disabled via game’s settings.

‘Re-worked’ Workers

Hire specialized workers to improve the performance of particular machines. Create a team of workers specializing in Vehicles or Washplant and benefit from a special boost!

Reworked Workers

  • Limited amount of workers per parcel to 10
  • Workers no longer generate passive income
  • Workers now give boosts to different activities
  • Added possibility to tier up workers to increase their performance
  • Workers now have specializations (below)
  • Added Bulk Upgrades boosts – if a player has more than 5 Workers specializing in either Vehicles or Wash Plant System, those Workers receive a special boost:
    – Vehicles (all): -20% Vehicle fuel usage
    – Wash Plant System: +20% Wash Plant processing speed

Fixes:

  • Differential Lock setting is saved after saving the game
  • Shovel’s fill is saved after saving the game
  • Magnetite Separator no longer loses its content after exceeding 100% fill

Other:

  • Optimization upgrade as a result of moving to Unity 2018.1.0
  • Magnetite’s trailer capacity increased from 0.06 (2 buckets) to 0.3 (10 buckets)
