The Administrator of User’s personal data is the Code Horizon, Inc. Company with its registered office in Katowice, Poland. This Privacy Policy applies to all services requiring the provision of personal data, provided by the Administrator through Websites owned by the Administrator, that is: https://codehorizon.pl/, and https://goldminingsimulator.com/.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The Privacy Policy sets the rules for the storage and processing of personal data of persons using multiple Company websites, who are the Users of Company’s Websites, available at the addresses: https://codehorizon.pl/, and https://goldminingsimulator.com/.

All Users personal data acquired on a voluntary basis are processed in accordance with the regulations on personal data protection. The role of Administrator of personal data of Users, as defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”), is exercised by the Company.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA THROUGH THE WEBSITES

Your personal data, which you decide to entrust us with, is collected and processed depending on the reason why you decide to provide it, which could be in connection with the provision of services offered by Company’s Websites, such as the recruitment process, answers to questions related to games published by the Company, or the newsletter subscription.

Providing personal data is completely voluntary, however, failure to provide data which are necessary to use a given service of the Websites may prevent the User from further using the particular service.

CONSENT FOR THE PARTICIPATION IN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

By entering the Career tab (https://codehorizon.pl/career/) you can read about the guidelines and requirements connected with the particular job position, on which you can later apply. In order to do so, you must send your Resume to out email address (jobs@codehorizon.pl), in which you’ll include your basic contact information, including: email address, name and surname, and attachments specific to the particular position. If you decide to do that, all your personal data will be processed solely for the recruitment purposes and for contact purposes related to the recruitment process.

You can always withdraw the consent for the processing of personal data for recruitment purposes, by sending us an email at kontakt@codehorizon.pl, however further recruitment is not possible without such consent.

The User may also send an inquiry directly to the Administrator via the electronic message, which can be sent through the Contact tab. When contacting for technical support or other questions you are providing us with your personal data, such as the email address, in order to be able to obtain answers to their questions, and as a result the given data is processed. Because providing the email address is necessary for us to to respond to questions, its (email address) processing is lawful (legal basis – Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

Additionally, we reserve the right to receive from Users only the information, which is necessary and required by the Administrator of data for the purpose of responding to the asked question. Please don’t send us your personal data, which is not required.

Through the Company’s Websites you can give us consent to subscribe to out newsletter, that is receiving marketing information via email. By doing so you agree to have your voluntarily provided personal data processed, which represents therefore a lawful basis for its processing by the Administrator (legal basis – Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). In such case, the consent applies only to receiving newsletters. Giving the consent can occur by indicating the appropriate option in the popup window, which appears on Administrator’s Websites (it is required to wait few seconds for the popup window to appear by itself). The given consent is completely voluntary and is not required to use Administrator’s Websites, which means, that you can resign at any time from receiving the marketing information via email by clicking on the link named Unsubscribe included in the newsletter, which user received to his or hers email. Your data will be stored for as long as you give your consent for it, that is until clicking on the Unsubscribe link.

CONSENT FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

For processes such as the recruitment process, responding to questions regarding one of Company’s games, or in order to send marketing information in the form of newsletter, the provision of personal data is not mandatory, however the failure to provide such data results in the inability to accomplish the above-mentioned processes.

USER RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law, you are entitled to demand from the Administrator the access to your data, its rectification, portability, and deletion, as well as limiting its processing. Additionally, in connection with the processing of your personal data by the Administrator, you are entitled to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data.

DATA SECURITY AND STORAGE

We are storing and processing all the data provided by you in accordance with applicable legal regulations and in a necessary manner for the execution of particular services, that is the recruitment process, sending of newsletter, or responding to questions related to the games published by the Company.

Both technical securities and organizational ones are implemented for the purpose of ensuring the safety of your personal data. Access to the User’s personal data is granted only to employees who are providing the particular service, for the purpose of which the data was collected and will be processed until you report the objection.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

The Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. For the above reasons, we encourage you to regularly check the current version of the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the changes to the Privacy Policy you should immediately refrain from using any of Company’s Websites.
