What’s new?

Repairs Part 2. We have improved one of the well-acclaimed features: Failures and Repairs. From now on, you’ll need to keep an eye not only on the durability of Vehicles but also your Washplant. Who said that the life of a chief mechanic is easy?
Reworked Workers. If the size of your gold mining operation becomes too great to handle, then maybe it’s time to expand your business and hire some workers? Now that they have been completely reworked, you can take advantage of their unique specializations and focus on the performance of particular machines.

IMPORTANT

Open Beta branch is a voluntary option and it may not reflect the quality and content of actual Update 1.4.3.
Save files from Open Beta version won’t be transferred to a live build.
Repairs can be enabled/disabled in game’s Settings.

Reworked Workers

• Limited amount of workers per parcel to 10
• Workers no longer generate passive income
• Workers now give boosts to different activities
• Added possibility to tier up workers to increase their performance
• Workers now have specializations (below)
• Added Bulk Upgrades boosts – if a player has more than 5 Workers specializing in either Vehicles or Wash Plant System, those Workers receive a special boost:
  – Vehicles (all): -20% Vehicle fuel usage
  – Wash Plant System: +20% Wash Plant processing speed

Fixes:

• Differential Lock setting is saved after saving the game
• Shovel’s fill is saved after saving the game
• Magnetite Separator no longer loses its content after exceeding 100% fill

Other:

• Optimization upgrade as a result of moving to Unity 2018.1.0
• Magnetite’s trailer capacity increased from 0.06 (2 buckets) to 0.3 (10 buckets)

Known issues

• Mouse goes to a second screen after Alt+Tab. Enter game’s menu and go back to the game to fix it.

How to join the Open Beta

To join our beta you have to make this few simple steps.

1. Right-Click on the Gold Rush: The Game in your Steam Library.
2. Select Properties.
   
3. Select BETAS Tab.
   
4. Choose “openbeta – Prerelease testing branch”. You DO NOT NEED the beta access code.
   
5. Restart your Steam Client.

To reverse the changes and go to the live build once again, just select the “NONE – Opt out of all beta programs” branch and restart your steam client.

REMEMBER: Saves from the beta version won’t work on the live build.
